Aviation Services
Alongside its engineering practice, Moldovan Consulting provides aviation services: flight training and ferry flights.
Mission Statement
Flying has captured human curiosity and interest since time immemorial. We look at birds or we climb mountain peaks just to capture a glimpse of the feeling of flying. People who have already experienced it know this very well, and some of them have fallen in love with aviation enough to make it their hobby or even their profession.
From paragliding or gliding, using natural forces like thermals and wind to fly higher and further, to motor-powered aircraft, flying is now more than ever available and accessible to everybody. Beyond that, it is our fastest and most reliable means of transportation, and sometimes the only option when covering long distances safely in the shortest time.
For those who want to embark on this journey, I want to welcome you and share a little more about aviation and what it takes to become an aviator.
Flying requires knowledge across many disciplines: weather, navigation, technical knowledge of engines and the aerodynamics of your wing and aircraft. Beyond that, learning to fly means controlling your aircraft in all phases of flight - take-off, cruise and landing; planning a route through airspaces and communicating your intentions to a flight controller; understanding safety and training to make decisions under pressure when needed. It is a complex field that requires all of us to stay proficient and keep learning continuously in order to remain safe and enjoy it for a long time.
This is how it all started for me, and now it is time to pass the knowledge on and inspire someone else to follow their dream. So, if you are curious and want to give it a serious try and learn it, you are at the right place.
